Eliana has discovered that many words she has used are childish when Y is added, so she's dropping the Y... and she's generalizing it so that even words that are supposed to end in Y no longer do.

Mommy is Mom
Daddy is Dad

Blankie is blank
Monkey is monk
Puppy is pup
